Some patients qualify for the bridge program offered by the pharmaceutical manufacturer, and the Mercalis Pharmacy receives an automated request for an authorized medication dispense. The pharmacist contacts the patient to confirm her health history, drug allergies and interactions, and shipping information. At any time after completing the PA form, her healthcare provider can check the patient’s PA status.
